Description
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with experience in PHP, Java and Web 2.0.
Responsibilities:
The Senior Software Engineer will be focused on developing social games and applications for Facebook and other social networking platforms, working largely in PHP and ActionScript 3. You will help create new features, design, develop, deploy and maintain highly scalable and reliable applications, to deliver a great customer experience. You will also design and architect new modules and features, as well as mentor more junior team members.
Must Have:
* Extensive programming experience in an Object Oriented programming language such as Java, C++, or C#.
* 5+ years experience working with (WEB 2.0) web-based applications in a high-load production environment.
* 5+ years experience with any of the following application stacks: .NET / LAMP / Java / J2EE.
* Extensive experience in ActionScript, Ajax, JavaScript and Java.
* Top notch problem solving and coding skills.
* Solid Computer Science fundamentals; expert knowledge of programming paradigms and design patterns.
* History of delivering quality code in a fast-paced environment with aggressive timelines.
* Excellent communication and team skills.
* B.S. Computer Science or equivalent.
Highly Desired:
· Experience developing applications using Flash / ActionScript 3, including performance optimization of such applications.
· Experienced with HTML / DHTML / XHTML / FBML (Facebook Markup Language), JavaScript, CSS, Ajax, MySQL and PHP.
· Previous experience with application development in the gaming industry.
· Familiarity/experience with building applications for Facebook, Open Social, MySpace, LinkedIn or other social networking sites.
· Experience leading and mentoring other developers.
