News Producer
SUMMARY: Produce and format news for KTVU Channel 2 newscasts by evaluating, finding, gathering and coordinating appropriate news material available from all news services. Plan, coordinate, and direct all the people and activities necessary to insure a balanced, accurate news program following the format, policy and guidelines established by the News Director and Executive Producers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Consult with News Director and Executive Producer on new stories and materials developed by KTVU. Prepare a list of news stories and visual materials for integration within the news program format. Assign stories to anchors, writers, and editors for scripting, production and timing. Develop graphics for production by Design Department. Consult with Director, Anchor and other Producers on production needs. Work in the Control Room during broadcast to oversee presentation and changes in format. Must create and produce interesting, energetic and important newscasts that have the proper pace, flow and detail.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage and supervise employees in editing, writing and reporting. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university in Journalism preferred. Actual experience may be substituted for certain educational requirements. A minimum of two years major-market TV News Producer or Assistant Producer/Writer experience or three years equivalent medium market experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and news stories in a concise, balanced manner free of bias, distortion or poor taste.

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Must be thoroughly professional in all aspects of journalism. Must be well read on current affairs and have a wide-range working knowledge and understanding of general interest subjects.

OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES: Use of two-way radio, telephone, iNEWS newsroom computer system. Must be able to learn and perform computer desk-top editing of video.

Account Executive
SUMMARY: Sells television time to advertisers and their agencies. Service existing accounts with strong emphasis on the development of new-to-television and new-to-KTVU business by performing the following duties:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

* Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from newspapers, business directories, and other sources.

* Daily travel throughout Bay Area to call on regular and prospective clients to solicit orders or talks with clients by phone. Client functions often fall on nights and weekends.

* Presents or demonstrates KTVU programming, using computer Power Point presentations, video tape, ratings, and sales pieces prepared by Research Department, emphasizing salable features.

* Negotiates ratings and rates. Prepares paperwork for orders obtained.

* Makes presentations to advertising agencies and clients. Responsible for selling sponsorships that may include promotions initiated by sales persons.

* Prepares reports of business transactions and keeps expense accounts.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must be self motivated with lots of initiative.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Since inception of mobileStorm, Product Development has been led by the CEO. With company growth we are now creating a Director of Product Development. The role is a strategic leadership role on the mobileStorm team. Responsible for both product planning and product marketing for mobileStorm's next generation email and sms marketing platform. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
The Owner of end-to-end product lifecycle of the next version of the mobileStorm platform and future product offerings/functionality.
Interacts with customers, prospects and internal stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, define the product strategy, roadmap, positioning and priorities.
Develop go-to-market strategy, including pricing and feature bundling.
Manage the platforms operational metrics, driving tools and processes to increase gross profit margins.
Document, brief and train Sales and Technical Services teams to ensure maximum familiarity with the product features and benefits.
Work with Marketing to develop sales tools, collateral, and other documents needed in the field.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
Proven success as a Director of Product Development for a software company managing SaaS product
Work with Email & SMS Marketing application preferred
Experience in the B2B space, selling a software product to organizations
Leadership skills with a hands-on entrepreneurial, startup attitude
Personality to relate to customers and prospects
Ability to communicate and function across both general and senior staff
