As you know from my emails to you the last few weeks, we planned a PinkSlipMixers.com Jobs Expo & Summit in Hermosa Beach on Thursday Sept. 1st. Our goal was to create a positive story for job seekers and connect them with highly skilled and meaningful careers.
We had about a dozen hiring companies attend. The companies included an international direct-hire company, several local direct-hire companies, and several executive search companies from the Southern California area as well as one from Silicon Valley.
The companies were in search of mid-management to C-level positions. In total, the companies had just over 200 positions to fill. One of our recruiters had 120 positions with about 1/4 of them with six figure salaries.
