This was sent to me by the casting producer of an MTV show:

CASTING NOW: College-age kids and folks for MTV show "Parental Control" --

Most parents are unhappy with who their son or daughter is dating.

On this show, parents get to set up their kid on two handpicked blind dates... The parents interview all the potential suitors, and choose their favorite two. When the dates are done, their kid chooses between their parents' new picks or the old flame.

There is pay for each person on show.

Hey Edwin,

 

I watch this show and have seen it many of times. I'd love to be on it or I know parents would pick me for their date for their daughter. I'd be the blind date handpicked by the parents and would easily be able to make their daughter pick over their current loser boyfriend. ...always wondered about this show.
