As we have been requesting earlier, we need volunteers for each event. If you want to volunteer for Orange County please respond to this thread.
One of the greatest benefits from volunteering is that you will have first contact with the recruiters. If your blind resumes are not working, invite the recruiters to the event and you will be their first contact.
Our first event in Orange County will be August 5th at Code Lounge. Diligent Finance Group is offering their staff to help out. Here is how this is going to work:
- Our PinkSlipMixer liason for our members is Andrew Watkins. His email is awatkins@asiasports.us. He is a member of our group. Contact him to be included with the group.
- You will help out to find recruiters to the event. Every month, just get ask one recruiter to come to our event. If we have 5 or 6 members contacting one recruiter an event, we should have a lot of recruiters by the end of the year.
- Once a week we will have a short 15 minute conference call to make sure we are organized and know which recruiters are coming.
