The only party where you can find a job, network with hundreds of local professionals and meet job recruiters face to face in a casual, relaxed environment is a "Pink Slip Party". This is not your typical job fair, in fact it's far from it.

The unemployment rate in Florida is the highest we have seen in decades at 10.2%. Over 943,000 Floridians are out of work right now, that's about 1 out of every 10 people that you come across daily.

Since April, JobsDirectUSA.com has hosted several free job networking events known as "Pink Slip Parties" in cities such as: Jacksonville, Orlando, Miami and Fort Lauderdale. Unlike a traditional job fair, a Pink Slip Party is a grassroots community driven networking event aimed to help local job seekers meet the companies, and recruiters of, that are hiring in the area. The party provides both the job seeker and recruiter a chance to meet face-to-face, interview on the spot and network. It's speed dating for job seekers and recruiters.

This week JobsDirectUSA.com, led by Broward county native Carlos Gil, will be hosting three Pink Slip Parties in West Palm Beach, Ft. Lauderdale and Miami. The goal is to bring together a minimum of 1,000 job seekers with job recruiters.
