The Marina Pacifica Job Club joins PinkSlipMixers.com for a special mixer with holiday flair at the prestigious Sky Room Restaurant, downtown Long Beach.  We will also be celebrating Edwin Duterte's 40th Birthday!! 

Located atop the historic Breakers of Long Beach this Art Deco venue offers stunning views overlooking the Long Beach harbor and coastline. Originally opened in 1926, The Sky Room has a long history of many Hollywood Celebrity guests such as Elizabeth Taylor, Clark Gable, John Wayne, Errol Flynn, and many others. Special elevator access to the top floor adds to the intrigue.

Special Happy Hour prices will be offered on drinks and food.

Guest Speaker - Adriana  V. Estrada - Volt Workforce Solutions

Adriana Estrada, Regional Professional Search Manager for Volt Workforce solutions will give a brief presentation on the importance of a professional image for the interview, networking mixers, holiday parties and all career activity.  

 

Guest Speaker - Yvonne Richardson - Image Consultant

Yvonne Richardson , a Local Fashion & Image Consultant and Repeat Boutique Merchandise Specialist  will provides very helpful information on fashion and image for those on a tight budget looking for the "secret finds and buys" right here  in our local community.  She will provide information on career and holiday trends, dressing appropriately, and the benefits of consignment. 

Yvonne and Wendy of Return Engagement will be available at a guest table for questions and consultation. 

 

Guest Speaker - Aaron Buford - Hair Stylist

Aaron a local Long Beach Hair Stylist  will talk briefly on Professional Image and Hair. Hair is often the finishing touch to a polished professional look. 

We appreciate Aarons frequent donations, discounts and community support to the pinkslipmixer organization. 

 

Professional Pianist and Entertainer Lee Kelley will perform holiday music.

 

Lets celebrate the holidays together.... they have eliminated our jobs but they can't take away our holiday party and spirit !!

Please be sure to RSVP. A print out RSVP will be required for elevator access to The Sky Room.  A good turn out is anticipated and space will be limited! 

Local business will participate in a special drawing to those who are pinkslipped.

There will also be a drawing from members of Pinkslipmixers to the participating business present.

You must be present to win and claim any gift items.
